    Mindfulness

    To be mindful is to be fully present, aware of our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations in any given moment. Mindfulness supports us in and allows us to feel less reactive or overwhelmed by our environment and stimuli.

    EMDR

    Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of therapy that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. It enables us to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences

    Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that explores the connections between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through developing more adaptive thoughts and behaviors, we can alleviate emotional distress.

  • DBT

    Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of therapy based on the concept of “dialectics”, or viewing the same issue from multiple perspectives. DBT allows us to work on accepting and managing painful emotions and decrease conflict within our relationships.

    Motivational Interviewing

    Motivational interviewing is a form of therapy that supports people in exploring and resolving mixed feelings or uncertainty about changes they are considering. It helps us find the internal motivation we may need to start making the changes that could benefit us.

    Art Therapy

    Art therapy engages the mind, body, and spirit in ways that circumvent the limitations of language. It creates a space for authentic communication without needing to use words. Art therapy is about the process of art making, not the end product.
